"It’s easy to do and it works”, says Elaine Ellis, as she describes her first week using the Blepharitis Relief Kit.
“I’ve been following the warmth, massage and cleansing routine twice-a-day and my eyes feel so much better.”
Elaine was first diagnosed with blepharitis around 12 months ago, but not before she had attended three separate appointments with her Optician, GP and a specialist at her local hospital.
“I went to see my Optician about changing my contact lenses and mentioned that I had irritation beneath my eyelid.
“Unfortunately my Optician wasn’t able to refer me to my local hospital directly so I had to go via my GP.”
At the hospital, Elaine was told that the irritation beneath her eyelid was the result of cyst that had formed due to blepharitis. She was given eyedrops to treat the cyst and recommended to wash her eyelids using diluted baby shampoo.
“Once the cyst had gone things were much better, but then about a month ago I started to feel irritation around my eyelids again and I knew it was the blepharitis returning. The symptoms come on slowly, I get crusting around the base of my eyelashes and my eyes feel sore.
“I was worried that if it got any worse I would have to go through a long process again to get the problem sorted. However I got the Blepharitis Relief Kit just over a week ago and things have been entirely different this time.”
“The mask is lovely and warm and it’s quite nice to sit with your eyes shut for 5-10 minutes. I use the temperature test strip on the box but it seems that 40 seconds in my microwave heats it up exactly the right amount.
“The BlephaCura liquid is really gentle, you barely feel anything when you’re applying it with the pads but it definitely works.”
“What’s more, I haven’t had to take any time off work to see a specialist at the hospital which is a real bonus.”
The Blepharitis Relief Kit includes the BlephaMask, BlephaCura cleansing fluid and BlephaCura Pads and is available to buy online.
